Brown Bag Lunch Program

White Oaks PTA's Brown Bag Lunch program is back this year. This program gives White Oaks 5th and 6th graders a chance to eat lunch with and hear insights from adult role models, who speak about their careers and life experiences. The program recently won a prestigious award from the Virginia State PTA, the Phoebee Appersen-Hearst Excellence in Education Partnership Award, given to a local PTA in recognition of its collaborative efforts with parents, families, educators and community, and for promoting parent/family involvement in ongoing programs that encourage student success.
